PETE'S PARTY 1990
From the Pikehands Archive (by Pete)
Mr Peter Taylor of Chipping Norton
Would like to announce to the world that, despite all physical evidence to the contrary, he will celebrate his 40th birthday on 6th September 1990. A party as such, in the accepted sense of the word, will not take place, but the aforementioned Mr Taylor will spend much of the ensuing weekend celebrating his new found maturity in several establishments in and around his town of domicile. His schedule will be as follows:-
- Friday September 7th, from 7.30 onwards -- The Falkland Arms, Great Tew
- Saturday 8th, 12.oo to 2.30 -- The red Lion, Chipping Norton
- Saturday 8th, from 7.30 onwards -- The Oxford House, chipping Norton
- Sunday 9th, 12.00 to 2.30 -- The Albion Tavern, Chipping Norton
Mr Taylor would like to invite friends, colleagues associates and hanger-on, together with spouces, partners, escorts and other assorted euphenisms to join him on one or more of these occasions, for the purpose of imbibing various libations and being companionable.
The two lunch time sessions are in pubs with gardens, for the benefit of those with offsprings, and, during the Saturday evening session, a selection of video recordings will be at the Taylor household for the edification of the very same.
A small momento will be made available to those attending all four sessions.
