FAMILY AND PIKEHANDS POLICY

  1. PRIVACY.
    1. The website aims to maintain the privacy of all who feature within.
    2. Should anyone have personal privacy concerns then we will amend or remove references to them.
    3. Please get in touch on broader structural privacy concerns or gather wider views from family and friends.
  2. FAMILY
    1. No defamatory, illegal or immoral content is permitted.
    2. Such data may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
    3. No content that identifies individuals will be allowed.
    4. Politeness and tolerance should be exercised at all times.
    5. Political issues shall not be allowed.
    6. All comment will be according to English Law.
    7. Family relationships regarding formal and informal adoption or those arising from step relations or half blood relations shall be taken to be synonymous with blood line members.
  3. PIKING RULES (as of Bury Weekend 1977) WHO CAN BECOME A PIKEHAND
    1. A Pikehand is male of at least 18 years of age.
    2. He shall be either (i) a direct blood line relative (ii) married to a direct blood line woman (iii) or conforming to 2/7 above.
    3. Children of these relationships male or male partners of females conforming to all above can become Pikehands
    4. If a man separates from a blood line woman or one conforming to 2/7 above for reasons other than her natural death he can no longer become or remain a Pikehand.
    5. Piking fully supports the rites of women whilst accepting the constraints of physical differences.
  4. AMMENDED PIKING RULES 1984
    1. Incorporates all of 3 above.
    2. Other family members may be more worthy of, "Pikehand of the Year," and should henceforth be eligible for the award.
    3. In line with respect for our elders an Honorary Pikehand scroll will be presented to worthy recipients.
  5. FURTHER AMMENDMENT TO PIKING RULES 2002
    1. Incorporates all of 4 above
    2. There would annually be a new chairmen alternating between older Pikes to younger Pikes and back to another older Pike again.
    3. Due to British advances in moral codes who can become a PIKEHAND will now extend, married in relationships, to include male partners of women from subsequent generations who conform to all above as is applicable.
    4. If a man separates from a subsequent generation woman conforming to 2/7 above for reasons other than her natural death he can no longer remain a Pikehand.
    5. Children of the relationship of 5/4 above shall be considered to conform to 2/7 above.
