Birthday Cards ---- Allhallows 1998
Pikes who were attending Allhallows 1998 were tasked to create and bring with them a 21st birthday card including a poem inside marking twenty one years of Piking.

So here we are we've come of age
Perhaps all families should use our gauge
So lift a glass and have some cheer
And join me in a pint of beer
A Pike I will always be
Because this is the life for me
It's full of fun and lots of frollocks
And take my word it's the dog's ******ks
Its twenty one years since it began
And boy 'O' boy we've had some fun
In boats and canoes and nearly punts
It has been said we pull silly stunts

Some people say the life of a man is three score years and ten
But you cannot tell with Pikehands they're not like other men
A Pike may live a debased life of four score years then plenty
Bur noone thought that they would see one more year than twenty
Birthday Pikes you'd never guess they're twenty on this year
Sophisticated, suave, mature they've grown from here ****** to here
Through bevi, headache, chundering, flatchette and ring of fire
Noone believed that pikehands would to twenty one aspire
Its pretty hard to tell a Pike from someone in the crowd
He's happy when he's got a pint and speaking rather loud
Filtered words of wisdom through the sands of time have sifted
A Pike with an I.Q. of five some people say is gifted
You need to know much more than most so you can tell a Pike
He's handsome, charming, witty, fit, someone that you could like
But so is every body else, the puzzle then for you
Is he a Pike or is he not if he says "Bilbo Who?"
Observe the species carefully and make a mental note
Of how he phrases all his words and listens for a quote
What he says you're not sure, though you ponder it for ages
"I Don't have a tea pot since me trouble took me' gages"
Now that he is twenty one noone has fathomed yet
How to truly tell a Pike frustrating you can bet
The burning question that you need now here's the final clue
Simply ask him, "what's the score," he'll say, "NIL NIL WHO TO"
